HOW TO PREPARE TIGER NUT JUICE 🦋

      It is sold at the market,super market or it is sold at some drink bar...

The fresh TIGER NUT fruit

The dried TIGER NUT fruit

      Tiger nut is popularly known as HAUSA GROUNDNUT and popularly called AKI HAUSA by the IGBO people in Nigeria.

   The tiger nut juice is made with the following ingredients;

1.) Fresh tiger nut fruit or dried tiger nut fruit

2.) Date fruit { Popularly called DABINO by the HAUSA people}.

3.) Coconut

4.) Coconut flavour (optional)

5.) A blender for blending all ingredients.

PROCEDURE

Step 1- If you are using the dried tiger nut fruit,soak it for two days till it turns out to look like the fresh tiger nut fruit.

If you would be using the fresh tiger nut fruit wash them thoroughly and keep them separately in a clean bowl.

Step 2 - 

Wash the date fruit thoroughly, after doing so divide it into two( halves) and wash the inside part of it keep it in a clean bowl

Step 3 -  Wash your already sliced coconuts.

Step 4 -  Blend these ingredients together till they turn out to be chaffs

Step 5 - With the aid of sieve or white clean handkerchief, separate the chaffs from the juice.

     Step 6 - Continue sieving to avoid the presence of particles.

   Step 7 - Add a little water to it and your juice is ready.

        If you don't have the coconut taste present then you can add the coconut flavour or if you're making a larger quantity.
